I am a versatile freelance writer based in the UK, writing in both English and Romanian for business and for pleasure.

Since 1995 when I was awarded my first poetry prize at 17, I published poems, prose and essays in a number of literary magazines and anthologies in Italy, Romania and the UK.

In 2009 I was awarded Diploma in Copywriting by the Institute of Copywriting and my experience includes web content, newsletters, product descriptions and press adverts for sole traders and small businesses.

I also write articles on arts, lifestyle and Dyspraxia commissioned by magazines in the UK, US and Romania, both in print and online. Some of the magazines I wrote for are: Changing Careers (UK), You & Me (US) and Romanian Roots (Romania).

I am a postgraduate with an MA in Historical Socio-Anthropology and I have an interest in folklore, immigration, pro-birth politics and world cinema.

In my spare time I paint, I talk about Romanian culture in schools and I explore the landscapes of Devon and other places like Wells, Cheddar Gorge and Lake District.
